The Opportunity

Place Recruitment is working with a highly regarded property development firm based in Mayfair to recruit an experienced, organised and professional Temporary Personal Assistant to support its senior management team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a capable PA who can hit the ground running, demonstrate strong organisational skills and provide first-class administrative and business support within a busy, professional environment.

The successful candidate will initially receive a handover on Monday 16th November. While the office is expected to be relatively quiet in the lead-up to December, there will be an opportunity to support the wider office team, particularly the Office Assistant, with general administrative duties and other ad hoc tasks.

We are looking for someone who is naturally proactive, resourceful and happy to turn their hand to different responsibilities. You should be equally comfortable managing a senior executive's diary and coordinating complex travel arrangements as you are assisting with wider office administration.

Key Responsibilities

Executive & Personal Assistant Support

  • Providing comprehensive and efficient diary management for the Group Development Director, managing complex schedules and responding confidently to short-notice changes.
  • Managing incoming emails, monitoring meeting requests, tracking responses and coordinating follow-up arrangements.
  • Organising internal and external meetings involving senior executives, Board members, government ministers, councillors and other key stakeholders.
  • Coordinating one-to-one meetings, performance reviews and check-in meetings with direct reports.
  • Ensuring all relevant meeting papers, presentations and supporting documentation are prepared and readily available.

Travel & Meeting Coordination

  • Organising nationwide travel arrangements, including transport, accommodation and detailed itineraries.
  • Coordinating site visits across the UK, managing logistics, stakeholder attendance, hospitality and meeting materials.
  • Scheduling meetings for various Strategic Development Committees.
  • Supporting the coordination of larger stakeholder meetings alongside other PA colleagues.
  • Preparing and formatting professional PowerPoint presentations and meeting documentation.

Administrative & Office Support

  • Processing expenses through Concur and assisting with expense administration.
  • Recording Gifts & Hospitality information in line with compliance requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate stakeholder contact details and relevant records.
  • Researching information and providing general project support as required.
  • Supporting the Office Assistant with general office administration, printing, scanning, photocopying, binding and other ad hoc duties.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider PA team to ensure effective cover and support.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced PA who is confident, professional and exceptionally organised.

You will ideally have:

  • At least three years' experience working as a PA or Senior Administrator.
  • Previous experience within the property, property development, construction or real estate sector would be advantageous.
  • Excellent diary management and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience organising nationwide travel, accommodation and complex itineraries.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to create and format polished PowerPoint presentations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to use initiative.
  • A professional, polished appearance and confident manner when dealing with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent timekeeping and reliability - punctuality is essential.
  • A flexible attitude and willingness to support the wider office team when required.

Important Information

The assignment will run from Monday 16th November to Friday 4th December 2026.

The role will begin with a handover on the first day. The office is anticipated to be quieter during parts of this period, so flexibility and a willingness to assist with general office support will be important.

This role would suit someone who is immediately available, enjoys being hands-on and can provide dependable, professional support from day one.
